- Pop-Up Video
- All I have to say is that "Pop Up Video" must be an amazing cash cow for VH1, because it's pretty clear that the people at Spinthebottle, Inc., think that the executives at VH1 are, at best, craven cowards. See the "Pops they stopped" section for details--the one about The Police is especially intriguing. (VH1 being owned by ViaMountBS--Viacom/Paramount/CBS, whatever the lump winds up being called; I wonder if they know about this site....)
- (from a girl, a browser and way too much spare time)

- Psst! Wanna know how to make a mixed drink?
- Weirdly, I don't think I actually know anyone who drinks mixed drinks and coctails. But if you do, CocktailSearch.com is for You. Search by name, type of drink, by ingredient, or browse (which resolves to type of liquor, more or less). You can find out about different types of glasses (did you know that there's an actual difference between the glass you're supposed to serve white wine in and the one you're supposed to serve red wine in? Although I did know that you're not actually supposed to serve champagne in champagne glasses; you're supposed to use a flute with that.)
- Can I just say that a Bullshot sounds disgusting?

- RedHot.Z.Com
- I have absolutely NO idea how to describe this site.
- It's ... more or less an audiovideo travel record of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' tour of the South Pacific.
- Be warned that the technical requirements for this site are impressive. You MUST have
- a minimum of a 56K modem;
- the most recent Flash/Shockwave plugin--without it, you can't navigate the site;
- RealPlayer 7 (the one after G2) or Windows Media Player 6.4.
But overall, I'm pretty sure it's worth it. After all, where else can you hear Kiedis describe Flea as "someone who can at the same time break your heart and turn your stomach."

- Sigh Factor
- A parody of the Psi Factor series. I must admit, I love Psi Factor for pretty much the same reasons cited here. I mean, it really is just about as bad as they say. (It is worth noting that they get one thing absolutely wrong on that site, though: The Office of Scientific Investigation and Research-OSIR-does in fact exist and does pretty much what the series says it does, if somewhat less dramatically.)

- Silicon Valley Tarot
- Amusing, if not particularly informative. (Hey, it's online tarot. How informative is it going to BE?)

- The Death Clock
- This ... is a truly, desperately, DEMENTEDLY sick site.

- Thirst [3rst]
- I put this in this category, not because it's all that amusing, but because, frankly, I have no idea what the hell it is. It's fascinating (make sure Java and Javascript are enabled), but hard to classify.

- ubermole! - lounge of the ubermoles
- I had to make a category for this. It didn't fit anywhere else. And it's pretty much impossible to describe. Think ... Barbie crossed with ... a hard-drinking, hard-smoking Jodie Foster (with a small dose of Esquivel in there somewhere), and you've got Ubermole!

- Weenies: The Erection Collection
- "These are collectible plush bean bag toys for grown-ups only. Clicking on the logos to enter this site constitutes your signature that you are 18+ years of age and not offended by adult joke material."
- These ... peculiar bean bag toys are weirdly cute. The site itself has a major design flaw--you have to get deep into the order pages before you can find the price of anything. They're $20 bucks a pop. or $70 for the set of four. I'm not sure if that's a good value or not; I have no sense of how big they are.
- Frankly, I'm not sure why, but I prefer my stuffed toys without erections, thanks.
