Drive-In Theater - They actually include every drive-in still operating in the US. We apparently have two of them in Chicago--with the light spillover, I can't imagine how that could possibly work.
They also include a "Gone but not Forgotten" section for each state. I did discover that one of the drive-ins of my childhood had been converted to a multiplex; in fact, once I saw that listing, I realized that I'd actually been inside the multiplex, many years later, without realizing where it had been built. I'm assuming that they've done whatever copyright clearances they need; otherwise, this site will be gone as soon as you can say Lawsuit.
RealAudio streaming versions of old television shows, movies, movie trailers... Whoa. (To be sure, there are better places to see Dragnet and the Andy Griffith Show. Like, on a television. But there's lots of other stuff there that you can't see on most channels these days.)
Probably best viewed with RealPlayer 7, and it downloads a plugin for you to view it AND it probably isn't even worth thinking about at less than 56K. In fact, at 56K, it's essentially an audio track with a series of still images, but even so, it's still kind of fun.
