Uptime? Uptime! Uptime!

September 10, 2005

The site may actually be back. One can but try to see...

Yes! Thanks to SixApart's help, my web host upgrading my plan (and downgrading the cost in the process), and elves and pixies behind the scenes, we are here, we are here, we are heeeeeeere!

Note, please, that the oldest archives are now offline (because I can't run CGI scripts the way I used to), so my delicate fulminatios from 1998-2001 are now lost until/if I decide to dump them into MT.

Note also that there are three sets of archives for your viewing pleasure, because MT decided, for reasons still unknown, that when it would export my entries, it would export entries starting in 2002 ... and ending in 2002. So somehow, it really didn't seem worthwhile to try to export and import for those things.

Thought about redesigning, just for the hell of it. Thought again after spending several hours getting things working again.

Normal grousing will recommence next week.
