As the maxim says, "Confusion to your enemies". Mind, I didn't expect the confusion to be generated by Dubya in THAT direction on THAT issue, but as long as they're confused ... (Of course, so am I, but whatever.)
It does leave you wondering what the far Right will do come 2004, though. What do you do with a sitting president of your desired party (1) during an ongoing warlike situation, (2) who continuously does things you Just Don't Like. I expect they'll vote for him -- Republicans are statistically far more likely than Democrats to hold their nose, close their eyes, punch the R hole and think of England, as it were -- but they'll be SO displeased about it .....
