Surely this was negotiable! I mean, there had to be a middle ground between "Given by this person" and "Given by this person in the name of this cause for these reasons." (And it was a million dollars! it would have been a plate on an organ, and most people couldn't have seen the damn plate! What the hell would the harm have been?)
